Little Superhero

Little Superhero is a game published on Scratch. It is designed for younger children to teach covid-19 knowledge. When facing the pandemic, the only important thing parents and teachers should tell younger children about coronavirus is how to protect themselves and reduces their panic. So the purpose of this game is to help children know how to protect themselves and others, rather than telling them how terrible coronavirus is or how much everyone worried about it.

There are three small games in the Little Superhero. These three games are like in a progressive relationship, they learn some general knowledge from the quiz first, and then learn what behaviors should they have from the second timing reaction game, and at last, learn how to perform these behaviors in different situations in the third game.

The game starts by telling the players that superheroes are looking for members to join them to fight for the recent outbreak of coronavirus. After playing the three games, players will receive a letter from the superheroes telling them their mission is to protect themselves and the people around them. The first game is a quiz game. Players will learn some basic knowledge about coronavirus first and then complete the quiz questions.

The second game is a timing reaction game. There're different "should do" and "shouldn't do" behaviors falling on the screen, and the user needs to collect the "should do" behaviors like washing hands or wearing masks, and avoid the "shouldn't" do behaviors.

In the third game, there'll be different situations children may face in their daily life during the COVID-19 time, and they need to choose the right behavior they should do in these situations.
